I'm now trying to install the DJ532-40 laser into the LDM21 cooler. As you can see in the pictures though, it doesn't seem to provide a very reliable fit (as the LDM21 is not directly compatible, as I understand). Should I try to scrape away the green material to allow the laser to fit? What ...

now that CFL lamps are banned in Europe, and quite difficult to find, is there an alternative, recommended way of calibrating the spectroscope?

Also, what about degassing the resin? Do you let it sit out separately, and then mix the two parts? Or do you mix it immediately, let it sit for a few minutes and then apply?
